For this fall cohort, facilitated by Amy Borskey Duffer and me with medical direction from Dr. Zak Foy, we are offering a closed group that will experience Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) influenced by the Holotropic Breathwork model. By offering KAP in a group, we can drastically lower the financial barrier to receiving this exciting new treatment, while also allowing folks to experience the support of like-minded co-journeyers.
Participants will receive two online orientation sessions, followed by three in-person ketamine workshops over five days with same-day integration, and a follow-up meeting on November 4. We are looking to find the most benefit from the neuroplasticity created by the medicine. The whole process will be guided by the Internal Family Systems perspective, which aligns brilliantly with the nonordinary state work and allows compassion for parts that fear the journey.
This intensive format is designed for people who would like to visit Asheville and view our fall foliage, though many locals participate as well.
