Wherever you may be
Become an Emotional Ninja. Learn to hear the messages your emotions are trying to tell you, without needing to suffer from them. Difficult emotions cause us so much suffering in our lives, but there IS a way (and it’s really not difficult to learn) that you can allow them to flow through your body (i.e. not repress them) without suffering from them.
Come learn and practice (in the shallow end of course) the technique itself, as well as learn the brain science which explains why this simple technique works.
Learn to hear the messages of your emotions and how to respond to them.
Your emotions are your friends. Get your team of emotions to cooperate with you and with each other.
When you develop skill with this technique, you not only create a more effective and happy life, but you can start to experience the Buddhist concept of Bodhicitta, where the emotion becomes just energy, which flows through you, opens your heart to deep compassion, power, and trust in the Universe.
"It’s in the human realm that a special opportunity is available to cultivate the ability to wisely see all of the emotional states, and that in doing that it becomes possible to turn even the most difficult emotions – rage, desire, longing and fear – as windows into the possibility of enlightenment. That the emotions themselves become the means of awakening, instead of the obstacles to the achievement of our happiness."
