Core Energetics

Core Energetics allows a deeper approach to growth and healing than can be accessed through talk therapy alone.  By including the body in the work, we develop a sense of presence and groundedness, connect to emotion on a deeper level, and feel our truth and power.

I offer individual sessions and an ongoing group.  In addition, I can blend Core Energetic techniques into the other work we do.

I am a graduate of the four year professional training program, have completed a postgrad year, and am currently on the faculty of the Institute of Core Energetics.

The process group, led by Kathleen Demers, LCSW and myself, meets two Wednesdays per month from 7:00 pm until 9:45 pm.  Participants find a safe and supportive (but challenging) container in which to expand, take risks, and become more of who they are in life.  Core Energetics and other techniques are used to unravel defenses, improve relationship skills, and create lessons that can be brought into day-to-day living.  In addition, we have fun.  This group has been active in various forms since 1994.
