With a degree in mathematics and a prior career in data processing, I bring strong analytical skills to the practice of cognitive therapy. Plus I offer an open heart, a non-judgmental stance, and a sense of humor. Therapy should be a little scary and a lot of fun.

I have trained extensively in the most effective experiential and body-oriented modalities I could find: Holotropic Breathwork, Breath Therapy, Core Energetics, EMDR, hypnotherapy, and Internal Family Systems. I also bring a powerful and eclectic approach to working with couples. Other areas of post-graduate training include sex and marital therapy, solution-oriented therapy, transpersonal psychology, group and family therapy, treatment of anxiety disorders, working with anger and aggression, alternative approaches to depression, and therapy with incest survivors.

Having practiced meditation for over 30 years, and having trained with one of the founders of transpersonal psychology, I am comfortable with and enjoy working on spiritual and existential issues with my clients.
